Botero Coffee Roasters presents the inaugural Shelly Beach Smackdown Latte Art Competition!
We are excited to see you battle it out with Baristas from all over the East Coast for the title of East Coast Smackdown Champion and the guarantee First Prize of $1,000!

– Competitor Entry $25
All entry fees will go towards the Prize Pool. First Prize is a guaranteed $1,000, proudly donated by SanRemo Coffee Machines Australia.

Competition Format
Baristas will battle it out in a 1v1 Smackdown format. Our Judges will roll the die giving you one of six designs that you and your competitor will have to master to move on to the next round.
The designs are:
– Heart
– Swan
– Tulips
– Rosetta
– Piccolo Tulips
– Free Pour
The Judges will base their choices off, what the design is and how the coffee replicates that and overall presentation.
The Finals
Once we are down to 2 Baristas, we will change the format a little bit.
The Final two baristas will have 3 pours each, to pour anything they choose. The judges will choose which designs they like given creativity, originality, and overall presentation. Whether you decide to pour three swans back to back or three different designs, that is up to you!
