Single Origin FAQs

What is a single origin coffee?
A single origin coffee comes from one specific farm, region or country, showcasing the unique flavours of its origin.

What can I expect from a single origin coffee?
Expect something different, unique tasting notes, a lighter tea-like body and vibrant fruit flavours that reflect the tasting notes.

What is the best way to drink a single origin coffee?
Single origin coffees are best enjoyed black to fully appreciate their distinct flavour profile, but they can also be enjoyed with milk if that’s your preference.

What’s the difference between roasted for all brewing and roasted for filter and the best way to brew each?
Roasted for all brewing methods is a light to medium roast suited to espresso, Moka pot, plunger, pour over (V60) and AeroPress.

Roasted for filter is a very light roast best suited to pour over (V60), plunger or AeroPress. These methods bring out its naturally light, sweet and clean flavours. It’s generally too light for espresso or Moka pot, which can result in sour, watery or otherwise undesirable flavours.

What is the difference in taste between our single origin and blends?
Single origin coffees highlight unique, seasonal flavours from one origin, while our blends are crafted to deliver a stronger, consistent flavour year-round.
